This striking black rope necklace with neon accents is entirely handmade. I crocheted black rope to form the core element, and then on to this, I crocheted neon orange polyester macrame cord and electric blue bungee cord. The ends of the cords are hidden and wrapped under the lilac wrapping cord.
This is absolutely one-of-its-kind. I say it often when describing my necklaces and weaves, but I never make anything twice. Because if I get bored making it, you will get bored of wearing it. When you buy a necklace from me, you can be more than 110% sure that you won’t bump into someone at a party wearing the same thing.
I absolutely detest trying to work claw clasps and that’s why I chose to finish off these necklaces using a toggle clasp that is as easy as sliding the rod end into the circle end — voila.
This necklace sits at the height of your clavicle. It measures 45cm when worn. The main crocheted body of the necklace is 4cm wide.
It will jazz up anything with a high crew neck, like a plain white t-shirt or t-shirt dress.
FUN AND LOUD — Here in my studio, there is no neutral or classic: it is always statement jewellery. You might not think this is your style, but you are wrong, especially if you tend to wear basic outfits. A pop of colour will jazz up your outfit and change the vibe instantly.
