I crocheted this necklace with denim-y textile cord that is sustainably made from recycled textiles.
This simple necklace borrows from the classic BEN necklace here at Zoe Tan Studio and builds on its classic design by adding short brass tubes and cord-wrapped elements. The wrapped cord comes in either navy or white, and has the effect of adding colour to the design but also drawing the eye even more to the braided/knitted design.
This necklace measures about 3cm in width, and 65cm in length when worn. The brass tubes tubes are 1cm long with a diameter of 10mm. The wrapped cord element is about 7cm long and the main crocheted body of the necklace is about 27cm.
This is absolutely one-of-its-kind. I say it often when describing my necklaces and weaves, but I never make anything twice. Because if I get bored making it, you will get bored of wearing it. When you buy a necklace from me, you can be more than 110% sure that you won’t bump into someone at a party wearing the same thing.
I absolutely detest trying to work claw clasps and that’s why this necklace rocks a simple brass clasp.
This necklace sits below your clavicle. It will jazz up anything with a crew neck, like a plain white t-shirt or t-shirt dress. In winter, this is a snag-free option your boring one-tone wool sweater, as in the photo.

You might not think this is your style, but you are wrong, especially if you tend to wear basic outfits. A pop of colour will jazz up your outfit and change the vibe instantly.
